We are seeking a Human Resource Manager who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources (HR) department. Working under the supervision of the HR Business Partner (HRBP), the HR Generalist will handle various HR activities, including sourcing, hiring, onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, leaves management, enforcement of company policies and practices, data management, reporting, maintenance of the engagement calendar, event management, conducting and monitoring happiness surveys, and overseeing employee exits.
Recruitment and Selection:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Coordinate the entire recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Conduct background checks and reference checks for potential candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and job requirements.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation, paperwork completion, and introduction to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct exit interviews and ensure smooth offboarding procedures for departing employees.
Employee Relations:
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts or disputes between employees.
- Address employee grievances and provide counseling or disciplinary action when necessary.
- Promote diversity and inclusion within the organization.
Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluation, and feedback processes.
- Provide guidance and training to managers on performance management techniques.
- Identify performance issues and develop strategies for improvement.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs within the organization and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions on various topics, such as leadership development, communication skills, and compliance training.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct salary surveys to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- Review and update the company's compensation structure and policies.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on labor laws and industry trends and recommend necessary changes to policies.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to generate reports and metrics on key HR indicators.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations based on HR analytics.
Employee Safety and Welfare:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Administer employee benefits programs, such as insurance plans and wellness initiatives.
HR Administration:
- Oversee HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining personnel files, managing HRIS systems, and handling HR-related correspondence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (a master's degree is often preferred).
- Proven work experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
