We are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor for our client in Norway. Project beginning early august.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians and lead workers involved in the installation of electrical and instrumentation apparatus and related equipment and devices.
- Supervise employees engaged in constructing, installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical systems.
- Monitor the work performed by contractors on electrical and electronic apparatus and instrumentation.
- Read, interpret and direct others with regard to electrical and instrumentation plans and blueprints.
- Supervise the testing of power distribution, transformers, circuit breakers, meters, and other apparatus.
- Supervise the inspection of equipment installation work performed by contractors.
- Plan, organize, schedule, and monitor work for efficiency, quality, and timeliness.
- Participate in the safety program and coordinate the training of assigned staff.
- Provide training and instruction to electrical/instrumentation personnel.
- Prepare written and verbal reports, memorandums, and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering Educational background
- Experience in working process industry as an electrical supervisor construction sites and projects.
- Experience of process Instrumentation in an industrial field
- Excellent knowledge of industrial electricity and safety practices, precautions, and safety procedures
- Ability to supervise a wide range of skilled electrical installation works; wiring, repair, and maintenance work on low voltage circuits in accordance with safety standards.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- English language skills (spoken and written).
