We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer with expertise in ETABS and SAFE software applications and a minimum of 6+ years of experience. In this role, you will lead the design and analysis of concrete structural systems using your proficiency in ETABS and SAFE. Your extensive experience will be crucial in providing innovative solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Structural Design and Analysis
· Perform comprehensive structural analysis to assess designs under different loading conditions and optimize performance.
· Strong command of structural engineering principles, including Static Analysis, Dynamic and non-linear type of Analysis seismic and wind engineering considerations.d neering considerations.seismicand wind engineering considerations.
· Proficiency in SAFE for designing and analyzing foundations and concrete slabs.
· Utilize your advanced proficiency in ETABS and SAFE to lead the design and analysis of diverse structural systems for various projects.
· Require the production of meticulously crafted and well-structured calculation reports that are not only of high quality but also visually engaging and understandable, derived from the respective software applications and its technical notes.
· Should possess a comprehensive and profound understanding of the intricate aspects involved in modeling and designing mid-rise and high-rise structures, including flat slab systems and correlated architectural elements, along with expertise in designing retaining walls and associated chambers, among others.
· Develop innovative and efficient solutions while ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (UPDA) license is preferred.
Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in structural engineering and in design.
· In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards
(e.g., BS, EURO, ACI, IBC Etc.)
· Proven leadership skills with experience in leading project teams.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
