Responsibilities:
- Carries out chemical analysis of construction samples (e.g. Concrete, cement or steel) by utilizing spectrometer, spectroscopy and titration technique.
- Prepare test solutions, reagents and samples for conducting material tests.
- Performs laboratory operations in accordance with standard operating procedures and fulfill the requirement stated in quality manual.
- Records data in a tidy manner and reports to senior laboratory staff if there are any problems.
- Calculate test results through applying determined limits and standard.
- Operates, calibrates and maintains specific laboratory equipment (e.g. ICP/OES, Spark/MS or Nitrogen analyzer) under the supervision of senior laboratory staff
- Develop QC charts, graphs and reference files on laboratory data.
- Maintains good housekeeping of the laboratory
Requirements:
- No Experience will also be considered.
- Higher Diploma or above in Chemical Analysis, Chemical Technology or related disciplines.
- Hardworking, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Candidate with more experience and qualification will be considered as chemist.
- 5-day work week
