The Engineering and Asset Management Department is one of ANA's central departments, composed of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for the development and management of infrastructure projects for the various national airports.


This department intends to recruit a worker whose main functions/ responsibilities are:

  • Management of airport projects, including pavement, drainage and other associated specialties; participation in procurement processes, preparation and revision of technical specifications, contractual documents, coordination, follow-up, supervision of service providers, revision and acceptance of deliverables.
  • Planning and execution of preliminary studies of airport projects.

    Definition and development of airfield layouts, including runways, taxiways, aprons and related infrastructure, in accordance with applicable regulations (EASA, ICAO).
  • Development of preliminary studies, cost estimates, constructability/phasing and coordination with other investments.
  • Analysis of solutions through airport planning tools (AviPLAN and other simulation tools).

Qualifications, technical knowledge and requirements:

  • Masters in civil engineering (or equivalent);
  • Minimum experience of 4 years in similar positions;
  • Familiarity with infrastructure studies and projects, namely geometrical design, pavement, geotechnics and/or drainage;
  • Excellent numerical skills, including advanced MS Excel;
  • Experience in CAD software programs;
  • Knowledge of technical requirements and standards applied to infrastructures (including EASA and ICAO) (preferable);
  • Knowledge in airport operations (preferable);
  • English proficiency (written and spoken).

Other information: Working place: Lisbon (availability to travel to airports within Vinci network).

The pre-selected candidates will be submitted to the tests deemed necessary after analysis of their applications. The formalisation of the application should be made until 04/05/2022
